Websites
I've designed websites for individuals, churches, and small businesses. These are websites I've designed or helped develop over the last few years.
- God on Tap (Winter 2013) I created this new stand-alone website for one of our new church ministries, in order to give it an identity unique from the congregation and to make it easier to discover. (Wordpress)
- Pastor Keith Anderson (Winter 2012) This is the third iteration of my personal blog, using a new template and upgrade to Joomla! 2.5.
- VittPE Personal Fitness (Spring 2012) This is an update for my friend Rick Vittum's personal training business. Joomla! CMS.
- Click2Save Book (Spring 2012) I created this site to support the launch of my book co-authored with Elizabeth Drescher, Click2Save: The Digital Ministry Bible. Joomla! CMS
- Community Nursery School Building Campaign (Fall 2010) I didn't design this site, but I built out the section "Building the New CNS" for the·Building on Community capital campaign and their new building project. Joomla CMS.
- Elizabeth Drescher (Spring 2012) I helped my co-author, Elizabeth Drescher, design and launch her new site. Joomla! CMS with YooTheme and Zoo Blog
- Executive Soul (Summer 2012) Based on nearly twenty years of experience in business, non-profits, health care, and congregations, Executive Soul offers consulting and coaching in such areas as ethical business practices, discernment in strategic planning, and the development of meaning and integrity in congregational and organizational life.
- Inn at Hastings Park (Spring 2012) This site was created with a simple Wordpress.com blog to disseminate information and garner public support for a rezoning the Dana Home to the Inn at Hastings Park. Google documents, photos, and videos helped to detail the proposed changes. The campaign was successful with the rezoning passing Town Meeting by a large margin.
- Margaret Benefiel (Summer 2012) Margaret is a professor at Andover-Newton Theological School, a congregational and organizational consultant, my friend and spiritual director
- Nadia Bolz Weber (Winter 2011) I created this website for Pastor Nadia Bolz-Weber from the House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, Colorado. Nadia is a leading voice in the Emerging Church movement. I was excited to help her extend her voice through this website. The challenge was to keep it simple but create something that reflected her style, personality, and ministry. To that end, the background is a drawing of liturgical year that she has as a tattooed on her arm. Joomla CMS.
- New England Synod (Summer 2010) This is the largest site I have worked on thus far. I volunteered to help with the redesign of this site, working with Pastor Mark Huber. Mark was the lead designer. I helped with a lot of the back end structure and organization of the site. Joomla CMS.
- Lutheran Church of the Redeemer (Spring 2011) This was the first major upgrade to Redeemer's website in three years. I wanted the site to better tell the story of our community - to reflect our life and energy. The site incorporates our social media elements: YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, email marketing, and includes a blog built right into the site. We've also embedded our Google Calendar and Google Doc for worship assistants. Joomla! CMS with Yootheme.
- Sermons by Pastor Keith Anderson (Spring 2012) This is my first site built Wordpress. It is a stand alone site, but it appears pretty seamlessly integrated into the main site.. My sermons had originally been posted at my congregation's sermon blog. When I changed congregations I imported them into this new site.
